Questions people ask
Who is the company?
A confidential search for a fast-scaling DTC pet care brand selling premium supplements, treats and grooming products for dogs and cats in the US and UK, at around $8m a month. The name is shared with shortlisted candidates.
Is this an editing role or a management role?
Both. You are a player-coach: you cut ads yourself and you build the team, standards and systems. It is not a role for reviewing edits and leaving comments.
How is success measured?
By the performance of the editing function, not only your personal output: hit rate, throughput, quality consistency and how much stronger your editors are in six months.
Is it remote?
Yes. Structure and benefits are discussed in detail during the interview process.
This is not a queue to manage; it is an editing function to build.
