AI-Capable DTC Meta Video Editor
Remote, UK/EU overlap required · Full-time · Listed 7 weeks ago
A performance creative agency for DTC e-commerce brands is hiring a remote AI-capable video editor. Expect roughly 3–5 UGC ads a day or 1–2 AI ads a day, plus around three hook variants per concept. $1,500+ USD/month plus performance bonuses, with UK/EU overlap required.
Our client is a performance creative agency founded by two brothers after scaling their own Meta advertising past $1M/month. They are not paid to make content; they are paid to make ads that brands can profitably put serious spend behind.
What you will do
- Turn creator footage, product assets and AI material into Meta ads built for cold traffic.
- Edit for hook rate, hold rate and conversion, not craft for its own sake.
- Produce multiple hook variants per concept so accounts can test real creative variation.
- Build polished AI video creative that does not look like AI creative.
- Execute strategist briefs correctly the first time, without constant clarification.
- Deliver rounds on schedule across multiple brands and brand voices at once.
Who you are
- You have a portfolio of DTC e-commerce ads that actually ran as paid media.
- You edit UGC fast and clean, with pacing that survives cold traffic.
- You know CTR, retention, hooks and retention loops as working concepts, not buzzwords.
- You have genuine AI-video capability we can inspect, not a tool list on a CV.
- You read intent and fill gaps: missing B-roll, weak pacing, no product demo.
- You can move quickly across agency-level volume without getting sloppy.
What you get
- $1,500+ USD/month plus performance bonuses, depending on location and demonstrated ability.
- Remote and flexible, working inside a pod with strategists, designers and account managers.
- Work that runs behind seven-figure monthly Meta budgets across jewelry, automotive accessories, supplements, beauty and wellness.
- A stack that includes Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, Descript, Higgsfield, Midjourney and Kling or Seedance.
How the process runs
- 1.Apply with CV, portfolio and your strongest AI-video work.
- 2.Portfolio review.
- 3.Interview and edit walkthrough.
- 4.Test project, then offer.
Questions people ask
Who is this not for?
General video editors, YouTube editors, corporate video specialists and organic-social editors without DTC paid-media experience. If briefs need to be literal before you can start, you will struggle here.
I have not used Higgsfield. Can I still apply?
Yes. Higgsfield is the primary AI-generation environment, but strong demonstrated AI capability with the ability to learn the stack quickly can work.
Can I keep freelance clients on the side?
No. This is a full-time, exclusive role with no parallel agency or freelance work.
Why is there a test project?
Because output matters more than a CV. The test is how you show what you can actually produce, and you should be ready to explain your decisions.
