Freelance Senior Shopify Web Designer for a profitable DTC pet brand, fully remote at US$35-70 an hour. First project is roughly 40-80 hours over 4-8 weeks: two web directions per brand, a Figma design system, and 8-10 signature sections per brand that beat the versions they replace.
Our client is a profitable DTC pet brand selling premium products across Shopify, Amazon and Chewy: $50M+ a year in revenue, $2M+ a month on Meta, a 100% remote lean senior team, and a second brand just launched. The products look premium; the websites don't yet, and closing that gap is what this project is for.
What you will do
- Set the visual direction: 2-3 web directions per brand in the first two weeks.
- Build a mobile-first Figma design system for both brands, complete by project midpoint.
- Design 8-10 signature sections per brand, mobile and desktop, launched as split tests.
- Beat the versions you replace on conversion rate and revenue per visitor.
- Hand over cleanly: Figma files, usage rules and a walkthrough the team can build from with AI.
- Deliver inside the agreed plan, on time and on budget.
Who you are
- 5+ years designing websites, with a portfolio of live ecommerce sites, ideally Shopify.
- You have elevated established ecommerce brands without losing what already works.
- You use AI design tools daily to explore directions and deliver fast.
- You build Figma design systems that developers and AI tools can extend.
- You design for conversion: hierarchy, proof, clear calls to action, fast mobile layouts.
- Available for roughly 40-80 hours over the next 4-8 weeks, fluent English.
