Senior Meta Media Buyer (DTC Ecommerce)
Remote-first; Europe, North America, or Latin America · Full-time · Listed 2 weeks ago
A senior Meta media buyer role at a direct-to-consumer pet care brand selling premium supplements, treats and grooming to dog and cat owners in the US and UK. You own daily spend, pacing, testing and scaling across two brands, run weekly performance read-outs, and keep blended ROAS meaningfully above the 1.6x break-even. $7,500–$10,000 per month, remote-first.
Our client is a fast-moving ecommerce business in the DTC pet space, selling premium supplements, treats and grooming products to 30–55-year-old owners who treat their pets as family. They are hiring one senior media buyer to own Meta end-to-end across a flagship brand and a second growth brand, and to turn what the ad account says into the creative that gets made next.
What you will do
- Own daily Meta performance, budget allocation, pacing, launches, testing and scaling across both brands.
- Read the account daily at the level of hooks, angles, avatars, creators and formats.
- Maintain a live angles × avatars × hooks map that directs creative production.
- Run weekly performance read-outs and monthly reviews with clear scaling recommendations.
- Find net-new angles and market openings before competitors saturate them.
- Work directly with creative strategists, video editors, CRO, retention and the founder.
Who you are
- Multi-year experience running Meta ads for ecommerce or DTC brands, with spend you scaled profitably.
- You think like a marketer: hooks, angles, avatars and ad psychology, not campaign-structure tweaking.
- You can read performance data past surface metrics and turn it into a creative brief someone can act on.
- Confident presenting insights to a team several times a week, in strong written and spoken English.
- Based in Europe, North America or Latin America, and able to operate autonomously from week one.
- Not a fit if you are a pure analyst, an agency-only button-pusher, or need extensive onboarding.
What you get
- $7,500–$10,000 per month, depending on experience and demonstrated performance.
- Full ownership of Meta across a brand portfolio at roughly $8m a month in revenue.
- Remote-first, flexible schedule, minimal bureaucracy, deliberately low founder involvement.
- Direct access to the founder and senior marketing leadership on growth decisions.
How the process runs
- 1.Application review
- 2.Initial interview
- 3.Practical performance and strategy assessment
- 4.Final interview, then offer
Questions people ask
Why is the company not named?
This is a confidential search. You get the full picture of the business, the scale and the pay now; the brand is shared with shortlisted candidates during the process.
Is this a button-pusher media buying role?
No. Meta handles targeting and optimisation. You are hired to read the account deeply, decide what creative should exist next, and scale profitably on the back of it.
What does success look like in the first 90 days?
Creative strategists spend half as much time digging in the ad account within 60 days, and more than 70% of winning ads come from data-informed briefs you authored within 90 days.
Where can I be based?
Remote-first, with candidates in Europe, North America or Latin America preferred. Schedule is flexible as long as communication and execution stay strong.
