Direct Response Video Editor — fully remote, USD $1,500/month plus performance bonuses
A growing e-commerce brand is hiring a Direct Response Video Editor to turn creative briefs into high-converting Meta ads. Creative is the main growth lever here, so every ad you cut feeds directly into paid media performance.
What you will do
- Produce 40–60 conversion-focused Meta video ads and static designs each month, with 40 as the floor.
- Turn creative briefs into polished, launch-ready ads with minimal revisions.
- Edit across UGC, VSLs, aesthetic and product videos, statics, and graphic-heavy creatives.
- Work closely with the Creative Strategist and clarify every brief before production begins.
- Use AI-assisted editing and video generation tools to increase speed without losing quality.
- Execute the strategist's vision faithfully, roughly 80% execution and 20% your own creative input.
Who you are
- You have proven experience editing direct response ads for Facebook and Instagram.
- Your portfolio shows UGC ads, VSLs, product videos, graphic creatives and statics.
- You understand hooks, pacing, retention, storytelling and conversion psychology.
- You are advanced in Adobe Premiere Pro and strong in Adobe Photoshop.
- You have used AI-assisted editing and video generation tools in real production.
- You can take a brief and ship launch-ready work with minimal supervision.
- This is not for you if you need constant direction or prefer brand films over performance ads.
What you get
- USD $1,500 per month base plus performance bonuses.
- Fully remote work, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM GMT.
- High-volume output at a growing e-commerce brand where creative drives growth.
- Direct partnership with a Creative Strategist, so briefs arrive clear and you focus on editing.

Questions people ask
Why is the company not named?
This is a confidential search. You learn the company name in the first conversation.
Is 40–60 ads a month realistic?
Yes, because briefs come from a dedicated Creative Strategist and AI tools are part of the workflow. Many assets are variations, statics and recuts rather than builds from zero.
Do I need to write concepts?
No. The split is about 80% executing the strategist's vision and 20% contributing your own ideas.
Do I have to work GMT hours?
Yes. The role is fully remote but runs 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM GMT so you overlap with the creative team.
If you can cut ads that sell, send your portfolio.
