This is a confidential search for a growing direct-to-consumer e-commerce brand that scales on paid media. You would own paid performance across Meta, work alongside the Head of Creative and the CMO, and be judged on the number, not the activity.
What you'll get
- Full ownership of the paid-media number, with guardrails agreed directly with the CMO.
- A junior buyer handling execution so you can spend your time on diagnosis and decisions.
- A creative team that acts on your account evidence, because creative is the main growth lever here.
- Scope to explore new channels: CTV, native and emerging paid social, alongside Google.
- Low micromanagement: routine execution is yours, and the CMO focuses on outcomes.
What you'll do
- Run Meta day to day: pacing, delivery, account health, and cut, scale or test calls.
- Lead the Junior Media Buyer on uploads, launches, QA and page posting, then review and coach.
- Test creative, landing pages and offers with a stated hypothesis and documented results.
- Deliver a weekly media-buying report on spend, performance versus target, tests, risks and next actions.
- Turn account data into specific creative direction for the Head of Creative and strategists.
- Own Meta assets, access and backups, handle rejected ads, and pursue copycat takedowns through Knockoff.
Who you are
- You have managed 7+ figures a month in Meta ad spend for ecommerce or DTC brands.
- You can explain why an ad works and turn account data into a clear creative brief.
- You tie every cut, scale and structure decision to a number rather than a hunch.
- You stay patient on tests, ruthless on losers, and calm when a single day looks bad.
- You surface bad results early with a plan attached instead of explaining them away.
- You want to lead, review and raise the standard of a junior buyer.
- Supplements, health, beauty or subscription experience is a plus, as is hands-on use of cost controls.
How it works

- 2Intro conversation about your spend history and how you read an account.
- 3Trial task: audit one of our Meta accounts, written doc plus a 10 to 15 minute Loom.
- 4Final conversation and decision.
Questions people ask
- Why is the company not named?
- This is a confidential search. You get the full picture of the business, the team and the role now, and the name as soon as we speak.
- What is the trial task?
- A full audit of one of our Meta ad accounts using read-only access or a data export, covering structure, performance, creative, testing, tracking, and your top three to five priorities for the first 30 days.
- How will I be measured?
- Blended ncROAS against monthly target is the primary metric, alongside blended ROAS, spend versus plan, on-time weekly reporting, creative volume into Ads Manager, and error rate.
- Is this a hands-on role or a management role?
- Both. You run Meta yourself and set priorities, review work and coach one junior buyer.
- What would make me the wrong fit?
- If you see media buying as budgets and bids only, react to daily swings before tests have data, or wait to be told what to do next.
If you own the number rather than report it, we want to see your audit.
