This is a confidential search run by our client for a client that builds and fixes teams inside fast-growing ecommerce brands. Their founder-led content is the front door to that audience, and right now edits ship too slowly and too inconsistently; that is the problem you are hired to solve.
What you'll get
- $400-600 base per month plus pay per piece by format and complexity. OTE $1,000-1,500/month.
- More output means more pay: the per-piece structure rewards speed and volume.
- Direct line to the creative lead, no layers of approval between you and the work.
- Ownership of the brand's editing standard across short and long form.
- A seat inside a business that works with ecommerce founders scaling past $1M a month.
What you'll do
- Edit the founder's short-form content: 30-60 clips and 5-10 original shorts a month, on brand and on time.
- Edit long-form talking heads, podcasts and interviews, around four a month, without quality dropping.
- Turn around first drafts and revisions fast so feedback cycles stay short.
- Hold one consistent editing style across every format, so the output looks like one brand.
- Work directly with the creative lead so creative intent lands with minimal back-and-forth.
- Stay responsive through the working day so the content schedule never waits on an editor.
Who you are
- You have a portfolio of short- and long-form work for founders, creators or personal brands. Portfolio matters more than years.
- You edit hands-on in Adobe Premiere Pro and can work in After Effects.
- You have cut talking heads, podcasts, interviews and lifestyle footage before.
- You are genuinely fast on drafts and revisions, and can show it.
- Your written English is clear and your replies are reliable.
- You care about detail: frames, captions, pacing, consistency.

Questions people ask
- Why isn't the company named?
- This is a confidential search run by our client on the client's behalf. You learn exactly what the business does, who it serves and what you'd own; you learn the name once you're in process.
- Is the output target realistic?
- It is 30-60 clips, 5-10 original shorts and about four long-form edits a month. Much of the clip volume comes from the long-form footage. If that volume sounds heavy to you, this is not the right role.
- I have few years of experience but strong work. Should I apply?
- Yes. The portfolio counts more than years. Send the work that proves you can cut founder content fast and well.
- How is pay actually calculated?
- A fixed base of $400-600 a month, plus a per-piece rate that varies with format and complexity. Typical on-target earnings land between $1,000 and $1,500 a month.
