Talo is hiring on behalf of a client
Full-time · Remote / fully flexible
A confidential search run by Talo for one of its clients. The full brief is shared with shortlisted candidates.
This role is budgeted at $4,000–$6,000 per month. Please give a single figure or a narrow range, gross monthly, in USD.
The brief says ASAP. If you are on notice, give the first date you would realistically be available.
The role is fully remote, but contracts and payment routes depend on where you are based. For example: "Working from Portugal, Brazilian national with a residence permit".
Answer no if you need an employment contract in your country or cannot commit to full-time hours.
Count only direct-response performance creative, not traditional brand or organic social work.
Pick the single closest match.
Select all where you produced creative that ran on paid media.
One per line, for example: "Brand X (skincare, DTC) — Creative Strategist, Mar 2023–present". Include whether it was in-house, agency or freelance.
Select all that applied to creative you personally produced.
Answer yes only if the concept, angle or script was yours and you can describe the spend it carried.
Monthly spend on the account or campaigns your creative was carrying, in USD. Choose the honest option if you did not have reporting access.
Be accurate — this is checked against your examples and in interview.
A link to an anonymised screenshot, Google Drive folder, Motion/Foreplay report or one-pager showing spend, ROAS/CPA or hit rate for creative you produced. Redact client names if you must, but keep the numbers visible.
A Drive folder, Frame.io link, ad library link or unlisted YouTube playlist. Note next to each what you did (angle, script, direction).
Where the insight came from (reviews, calls, forums, competitor ads), the angle and hypothesis, the hook and format, what the data showed, and how you iterated on it afterwards. Write it yourself — pasted AI copy is easy to spot and counts against you.
Concepts built on a distinct hypothesis, not variations of the same ad. The baseline here is 8 new concepts per week.
You do not need to be an experienced manager, but we need to know where you are starting from.
Select all you have used hands-on. We do not expect every tool in our stack.
One or two paragraphs. Be specific about your research sources, the hypotheses you would test, how you would structure the tests with the Growth Manager, what you would tell your POD, and how you would handle the underperforming editor.
The trial task sits between the initial interview and the client interview. It is time-boxed and we will confirm whether it is paid or unpaid before you start.
Record on your phone or laptop, unlisted YouTube, Loom or Drive link with viewing access enabled. Cover: who you are, the DTC ad you are proudest of and why it worked, and one thing you have learned about why people buy in a category you know well. No slides, no script read aloud, no edit needed.
Optional and entirely up to you. For example notice periods, caring commitments, connectivity constraints, or adjustments for the trial task or interviews. This will not count against your application.
