Talo is hiring on behalf of a client
A confidential search run by Talo for one of its clients. The full brief is shared with shortlisted candidates.
The salary for this role starts from £40,000 per year and can go considerably higher with experience. Please give a monthly figure, e.g. "£3,750 per month", and note if it is negotiable.
If you are serving notice, give the first date you could realistically begin.
This role involves daily Slack contact with UK-based clients, so working hours and contract type depend on your location.
Count only time where performance of the creative was part of your remit.
Choose the closest single match.
For example: "Agency X — Creative Strategist, Mar 2022–present; Brand Y — Performance Copywriter, 2021–2022". Include whether each was agency-side or in-house, and roughly how many brands you held.
Select all you have hands-on experience in.
Select all that apply.
Answer yes only if you wrote or owned the brief yourself, rather than supporting someone else's.
Use the monthly spend of the account(s) your creative ran in, in the currency you worked in, converted roughly to USD. Be honest — we verify figures later.
Concepts that reached a designer or editor, not raw ideas.
Ownership means you decided what got briefed, not just executed someone else's plan.
Select only what you did yourself.
A Google Doc, deck or folder with ads manager screenshots or dashboard exports showing ad, client (can be anonymised), time window and figure. Make sure the link is publicly viewable.
A folder, reel, Ads Library link or deck with the actual statics and videos. If nothing is public, upload copies to a shareable folder.
We read writing samples properly. Anonymise client names if you need to. Please do not send agency case studies written by someone else.
Include the ad, the client (can be anonymised), the time window and the figures. Then explain the hook, angle, format and awareness stage, what your hypothesis was, and what you briefed next because of it.
Select all you have used yourself in the last two years.
Be specific about your weekly routine, how you use research and performance data as inputs, and where AI tools fit. We are more interested in the mechanics than the philosophy.
One or two paragraphs. Tell us what evidence you would pull first, how you would separate creative fatigue from journey, offer or launch issues, and how you would handle the promise and the deadline.
This is a paid stage and typically takes a couple of hours.
Record on your phone or laptop, no editing needed. Cover: who you are, the book of brands you have owned, and one ad you briefed that earned spend plus why you think it won. Upload to Loom, YouTube (unlisted), Google Drive or Vimeo and check the link opens for anyone.
Optional and only used to make the process work for you. Share only what you are comfortable sharing.
