Talo is hiring on behalf of a client
A confidential search run by Talo for one of its clients. The full brief is shared with shortlisted candidates.
Please give a single gross monthly figure (not hourly or annual). The budget for this role is $2,800–$3,000 per month plus a performance bonus, with current top editors earning an additional $1,000–$2,000 per month.
If you are serving a notice period, give the first date you would realistically be available.
This role reviews and approves creative daily alongside media buyers and strategists, so overlap matters. Answer honestly about what you can sustain long term.
Choose the single closest match. "Leading" means you owned hiring, standards, coaching or final approval, not only passing on feedback.
Answer yes only if you can point to specific ads and the results they drove; you will be asked for links and numbers next.
Think of the single account or brand at its peak month. Choose the honest option if you were never shown the spend figures.
Select everything you were accountable for. Leave unselected anything someone else owned.
One link (Google Drive, Dropbox, Frame.io or a portfolio page) containing the finished ads, not a showreel of clips. Make sure sharing permissions are open and the link does not expire.
Cover: the brand and offer, what you personally did versus the rest of the team, the creative decisions (hook, pacing, structure) you believe drove performance, and the numbers you can stand behind (spend, ROAS/CPA, how long it ran). Specifics beat adjectives.
In a few paragraphs, set out how you would diagnose the root cause, the conversation you would have with that editor, how you would handle the media buyer, and which systems or standards you would change. Write it yourself; obviously generic or AI-written answers are easy to spot.
