Talo is hiring on behalf of a client
A confidential search run by Talo for one of its clients. The full brief is shared with shortlisted candidates.
Give one number for full-time monthly base pay in US dollars. The band for this role is $2,000 to $4,000 per month plus a per-winner performance bonus.
If you are serving notice, give the first date you could realistically begin, not your ideal date.
This role is remote with an open schedule, but we need to know your working location and nationality because contract type and public holidays depend on it. Example: 'Philippine national, working from the Philippines'.
The client does not mind when you work, only that 8 to 10 finished ads land each week.
Count only work where the footage or characters were AI-generated, not traditional footage editing.
Pick the single closest match.
This role carries review responsibility for a junior editing team.
Newest first, one per line, for example: 'Polar Haircare — Senior AI Video Editor — Mar 2024 to present'. Note whether you were in-house, agency or freelance.
Select every market where your creative was actually served.
Select only tools you have used on live work, not ones you have read about. Speed at adopting the next tool matters more than this list, so answer honestly.
Answer yes only if the ads went live on a paid account, not test renders or spec work.
Estimate the monthly spend on the account where your ads ran, not your fee. Choose the honest option if you never had visibility of the numbers.
Finished means ready to run, not rough cuts or minor variations of the same edit. Count roughly 2-minute ads or equivalent.
Select only what you did yourself, start to finish.
A screenshot folder, dashboard export, ad library link or one-page summary showing spend, ROAS, CPA or winner rate for ads you made. Check the link is publicly viewable. Leave blank if you genuinely cannot share figures and explain why in the next answer.
One link to a folder, reel or playlist is fine. Make sure sharing permissions are open and the ads are ones you cut yourself.
Cover the hook, the structure you chose and why, what the numbers did compared with the account average, and what you would change if you recut it today. Write it yourself, in your own words.
A paragraph or two. Be specific about what you would decide alone, what you would escalate in those 15 minutes, and how you protect the weekly output.
Choose the option that is genuinely true of you.
The trial is paid and scoped to a single ad.
Record a 3 to 5 minute Loom (or similar, unlisted link is fine) with your face and voice, no slides and no script read aloud. Cover: who you are and how long you have edited ads; two or three hyper-realistic AI UGC ads you made that ran with real spend and how they performed; why you edited one of them that way and what you would change now. Check the link is viewable by anyone before submitting.
Optional. For example adjustments you need for an interview or trial task, notice periods, other commitments, or anything in your CV you would like to explain. Leave blank if not relevant.
