Talo is hiring on behalf of a client
Full-time · 6:00 AM–2:00 PM EST
A confidential search run by Talo for one of its clients. The full brief is shared with shortlisted candidates.
The budget for this role is $1,500–$2,500/month plus performance bonuses for winning creative. Please give a single figure or a narrow range, e.g. "$1,800" or "$1,800–$2,000".
If you are serving notice, give the first date you could realistically begin.
For example: "Philippines, GMT+8". We ask because the role runs on fixed US hours and contracting arrangements depend on your working location.
This is a fixed schedule, not flexible hours. Please answer honestly.
Count only paid social or direct-response ad editing, not general video, wedding, corporate or YouTube content.
Choose the single closest match.
One per line, e.g. "Brand X — freelance editor — Mar 2023–present — DTC skincare". Include the category so we understand the audience.
Select all where your edits ran as paid media, not organic posts.
Select all that apply. Our core audience is women aged 55+ in the US.
Premiere Pro is the core editing environment for this role.
Select all you have actually shipped work with. The AI stack changes often, so name others in a later answer if needed.
We mean spend behind creative you cut yourself, not a campaign your team ran.
Pick the band for your single strongest example. Honest answers are better than inflated ones — we verify in interview.
Select only what you did yourself.
A screenshot in a shared drive or Loom walkthrough of Ads Manager showing spend, hook rate, hold rate, ROAS or CPA — with client names blurred if needed. Make sure the link is publicly viewable.
One link to a folder, reel or page — not your general showreel. Note beside each which one is the $10K+ spend ad and which used AI tools.
Around 150–250 words in your own words. Specific craft decisions beat general theory, and we can tell when text is pasted from an AI tool.
One paragraph. Tell us how you protect the hook, the deadline and the brief's intent, and what you would escalate rather than solve alone.
The role expects 10–12 concepts per week with most edits turned around in under 24 hours.
It is a single short edit from a real brief, scoped to a few hours.
Record yourself on camera, unedited, in English. Cover: who you are, the ad you are proudest of and why it performed, and which AI tool you are experimenting with right now. Phone footage is fine — we are assessing spoken English and clarity, not production value. Upload to Loom, YouTube (unlisted) or Google Drive and check the link is viewable by anyone.
Optional and confidential. This has no bearing on whether we shortlist you.
