Creative Strategist (Paid Social) — Supplements
Job Title & Snapshot Creative Strategist (Paid Social) — Supplements Own the concept pipeline. Own the testing cadence. Own profitable acquisition at scale. Senior. Fully remote. Freelance retainer, 30–40 hours per week, no fixed shifts. $5,000 per month plus 3% of ad spend on winning concepts. Target start: 1 October 2026. About the Company This is a confidential search run by Orgbuild on behalf of our client: a DTC e-commerce brand selling joint health supplements worldwide to people living with joint pain, and to people who want to get the most out of their life. The customers are 40+. They have usually tried several things that didn't work. They respond to honesty and expertise, not hype — so the creative has to be empathetic and knowledgeable, or it doesn't convert. Paid social is how this brand acquires customers. That makes creative the constraint on growth: when the concept pipeline runs dry, testing stalls and acquisition efficiency slides. Right now, too few net new concepts ship each month to keep the pipeline full, and the existing junior strategists need direction to reach a briefable standard. The Role Overview This role exists to solve the shortage of net new paid social creative concepts so that the media buying team always has fresh, insight-led angles to test, which results in sustained ad performance and profitable first purchases as spend scales. You are not executing to someone else's brief. You set the creative direction, decide from performance data which angles get tested and which get scaled, and lift the output of the junior strategists around you. Your manager is direct and fast-moving, with roughly one hour a day for you. You run the pipeline. Responsibilities (Outcome-Based) You are accountable for: • A continuous pipeline of 10–15 net new testable concepts and hooks per week, built around the language and lived experience of joint pain sufferers • Briefs and storyboards that video editors, designers and creators can produce from immediately, without rework or clarification delays • Creative performance analysis that concentrates spend on proven angles and formats and retires fading ones early • Trend and competitor research that keeps the pipeline fresh instead of recycling the same angles • A testing pipeline that never goes idle, through tight coordination with media buyers and production specialists • Junior strategists producing usable briefs independently, without senior rewriting This is ownership of the creative engine — not a list of tasks. What Success Looks Like You're winning in this role when: • 10–15 net new concepts ship every week, consistently • Monthly net new concept volume is clearly above the current baseline • First purchase profit is maintained while concept volume rises • Winning concepts are identified early and scaled — your 3% bonus is tied to spend on them • Design and video accept your briefs and produce from them without rework cycles • Junior strategists are briefing at standard on their own Required Experience Seniority level: Senior. This is senior because you set creative direction rather than follow it, make independent calls on what to test and scale from performance data, train and direct existing junior strategists, and run the pipeline on roughly an hour of manager time a day. You should have: • 3+ years in creative strategy and scriptwriting within the supplement niche • Proven creative strategy behind high-performing DTC paid social campaigns • A portfolio of visual ad concepts, hooks and creative scripts • Working command of performance marketing metrics — conversion rate, CPA, retention • Fluent written and spoken English for all internal documentation and meetings • Demonstrated ability to turn concepts around rapidly and iterate at pace • Practical, current use of AI tools in the creative process Tools / Environment You'll work with: • Meta Ads • ClickUp • TrendTrack • Figma or Canva for rapid mockups (nice to have) Work Environment •
